ELDRID SCHAFER

The great grand daughter of middle park Colorado pioneers, Eldrid is a native of Colorado. Living in Colorado’s high mountains for most of her life, and now in the desert she has a deep appreciation and love of nature's artistic creations. Experimenting in quilting over the past 25 years, Eldrid is now venturing into the world of art quilting, experimenting on fabric. A water-color artist, she began painting on fabric and a new journey began. A willing student, Eldrid states that learning more about design, fabric embellishment, color, texture, and much more keeps art quilting exciting. Other creative interests in Eldrid’s world are floral design, painting, cake decorating, plants, gardening and well, more plants.
