Call for Entries

Postcards not meeting all of the following requirements will not be accepted. All postcards must be the work of the entering artist.   Professional photography is not required and there is no entry fee.

• The word “postcard” must be stamped, printed or written on the address side of the card. 
• All postcards must be at least 3-3/4” x 5-3/4”, but no larger than 4” x 6”.
• Due date is the AQuA meeting – October 20th.
• You must set your own price (we suggest a minimum of $12, but that is up to the individual artist).
• Thirty percent (30%) of the sale price of each card will go to The Creamery Arts Center.
• On the address side of each postcard, please place a piece of painter’s tape on which you have written the number (corresponding with the list below), your last name and the postcard price.
• List your postcards below with a number, your name, the price and a very short description.
• You may enter as many postcards as you wish.
• We will have one wall to hang postcards and an “art bin” in which postcards will be placed.
• AQuA will furnish the clear plastic sleeves for the postcards in the bin.
• One or more postcards may be framed at the expense of AQuA (postcard(s) will be chosen by the show chairmen) to showcase how a framed postcard would look.
• All postcards must be listed on this entry form.
• Insurance for your postcards will not be provided.
• Wrap your postcards with this entry form and secure with a rubber band.
• Susan Strickland (242-7816) and Rita Faussone (245-6590) will chair this event. 
• The Creamery will write a check to AQuA for the total sales.  AQuA will then disburse the sales receipts directly to individual members by check sometime after January 1, 2008.  Unsold postcards will be returned to members at the January 2008 AQuA meeting.

Entry of the below listed items means that I fully understand that AQuA members will take every precaution to protect my postcards in the gathering and display, but I understand that they cannot be responsible for acts of nature beyond their control.  As an entrant, my signature grants AQuA and/or its designated sponsors the right to photograph my postcards for publication, advertising or promotional use.
